I recently purchased a 79 f150 with a 351m in it. had to flatbed it home, after it stopped running on the road home. when I took a better look at it, the carb was messed up, vacuum hoses were plugged with screws, the kickdown arm wasn't attached. two springs were missing on the throttle body of the carb.
So I replaced the carb, and hooked everything up. replaced the fuel line and filter. Now comes the vacuum hoses.
Does anyone have, or know where to get a diagram for this? even a picture of where everything is supposed to be would be great.
What state are you in? In CA here, I have to keep all that crap, but if you don't, I would simplify it and get one to the dist, plug the rest and start from there. Someone might have some diagrams to help, and if you use the title like I did, it might make it quicker,,, you never know.
Mine is not due for a smog for 2 years now, so next chance I get, I am going to mark them and remove them.
