starting gremlins
anyone else have a Ford truck that occasionally just decides not to crank when the key is turned? i hear a click and everything electrical dies. no fuses blow; i have to pop the hood and jiggle a battery cable and everything comes back online. it's enough to drive me crazy.

How about cleaning the battery terminals really well(wire brush) and then clean the cables too. Sounds like it's corroded, which will not pass current very well. Once you giggle the cables, then make contact again and work til it corrodes again.
I'd inspect your battery cables and make sure there are no soft spots in the cable(broken). Make sure the ends are securely fastened to cable.
