idk I got mine used for $1000,00 and put another $1400.00 into parts to get it in so it depends on the deals you find. that was cheaper then a new rebult auto for 4 to 5 thousand. So I went that rout. So i saved $1000.00 or better.Just depends on what you can find for deals and parts. Its also not the most easy swap to do but it can be donr depending on your skill level.

will the brain i went to a junk yard and bought a mannuel brain. The harness is the same from 91 to 97 but where the wires are in it are diff. I i had to move one wire to a diff. location in the plugin to get it to turn over, but if you get a harness for the same year as yours you wont have a prob. with it

so the easyest would probly to be just buy a wireing harness for a manual ? cause the comp and the wireing was the only thing that concerned me about the swap

ya. see i bought mine with everything pedals harness all so it was a good deal and it was all there, but the brain, and if your real good you dont need any of it .you can rewire it and trick the auto brain into thinking its a man. tranns but that was a little much for me to try on my first try. lol

The EVO tuner is the likely culprit for the trans failures. A custom burned multi-tune chip from TW <--click, is easier on the trans. You can get as many tunes as you can afford.

Get a larger trans cooler <--Click, heat is the cause of most trans failures IMO. Especially with larger injectors and a hot tune (EVO).

A BTS trans <--Click, is bullet proof but pricey....+$5000. His warranty is second to none. You break it he fixes it...period.

You can build a stout trans for around $3000 including a $1000 Torque converter. I got my parts from HERE.<--Click

9 transmissions!
Did they have a common failure?
The edge tuner is for stock sticks.
You also could just build your own trans.

Very poor workmanship and low quality parts will do that every time. Sorry to hear about it though. Were all 9 trannies rebuilt by the same people?
