2005 Expedition Electrical
1. Steering wheel volume switch now changes the station, and increases the volume when you hit the -.
2. VERY SLOW driver door window. It goes down faster than up, but still VERY SLOW. Other windows seem to be OK.
3. Rear Wiper stopped working. I read here that if you turn it to the second intermission and move the wiper it should fix it, and it did. Seems to work ok.
4. Tire Pressure Monitor fault. Happens intermitently.
5. Battery went dead about a week ago. Jumped the car and it has run well. Had the battery tested, and it tested good. No problems since.
Any thoughts on the Dirver door, volume switch, and tire pressure monitor?
2. Window track needs some silicone or graphite lube.
3. You dealt with the problem but what caused it.
4. Keep your tires inflated to or above the door sticker recommendations.
5. Was it totally dead? Was it only too low to start the vehicle? Check the belt tension for the alternator.
1. How do I get to the wire harness?
4. Tires are inflated properly. It is not a "low pressure" fault, it is a tire pressure monitor fault. I think it means I have a bad tire sensor, or it lost the calibration. Only happens intermitently.
5. The battery was too low to start. The truck drove about 1.5 hours then sat for about 24 hours in VERY cold weather (0 to -5F), and then needed to be jumped. Since this, no problems.
I am wondering if a bad, or suspicious ground could cause these?
