I have a fuel leak somewhere in the valley. The fuel pump was just replaced 2-3 months ago. After running for a short time, shortly after the engine is stopped, I can hear a hissing noise, i'm guessing that's the leak. It does not look or sound like the leak is coming from the weep hole under the pump and the pump connections are dry. I suspect somewhere from around the filter, but i can'tt look under there very well due to the turbo Y. Any reason not to run the engine at idle for 20-30 secs without the air filter and turbo connected? That way I can look back under the filter as soon as the engine stops and try locate the leak.
Check the electrical plug for the water in filter light, it is on the drivers side of the filter bowl. If it is leaking you can remove it and replace it with a 1/8" pipe plug. Just be careful and do not tighten it too tight. Fuel bowls are expensive. Also remember to check your filter. Fixed mine this way and I just change filter every other oil change.
