Yesterday, suddenly my truck began to surge, idle cut out. Would not stay running. I nursed it home. Check engine light came on but would go out if I put tranny in neutral and revved engine above 2500 rpm.
Pulled the following codes: 122,112,128,327,328. I will check all vacum lines for sure. Other than that I am at a loss where to start. any help would be appreciated.
I am not an expert but here goes. Codes say you have a Throttle Position Sensor fault, a Intake Air Temp sensor fault and a bunch of Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve faults. However it sounds to me like a big vacuum leak or a EGR valve stuck open. Maybe some of the EFI experts will chime in soon.
thank you Lazy K, I found a picture/graph of the involved sensors and how they connect to each other. I am trying to pinpoint the common denominator. I don't know how to attach the picture to this post!
Yeah my thought is you may have a wiring issue with Vref or Sig Rtn(ground) from the computer to all those sensors, they share a common feed. You should test continuity from the EEC connector out to these devices.
