Shocks & Tires
I just replaced the factory shocks on my 08 F250 6.4, I put Bilstein's all the way around. They feel great. The factory shocks were very easy to compress by hand when I took them off. I replaced them because one of the factory shocks was showing oil seepage.
I got 42,000 miles on the original Continental tires. I never liked them but they came on the truck and I knew that with the amount of miles I drive I would not have to put up with them for very long. I replaced them with Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor Pro-Grade tires. They are load rating E and have just enough off-road tread to make them useful in driving around the yard and whatever light off-roading any of you get into.
My truck is:
08 F250
6.4 Powerstroke
Ride-Rite airbags in the rear
71,000+ miles and loving it.
