expy eddie bauer interior issues
hello all...i'm new to this forum.
yesterday i bought a 08 eddie bauer expedition 4wd with 13k miles for $25,500....one of those prior rental vehicles that comes from the auctions. the truck seems to run great and for the most part looks great...but i do have one issue in the interior.
on the side and top edge of the center console there is a long strip of plastic that is painted shiny grey. and right next to the cup holder on the top edge the of that plastic there is about a 2" area where the grey paint has been rubbed off or ate away by soda or something and now looks black.
so i was hoping that someone knows where i can buy some matching paint to restore the grey color?? the dealer said he has not had good luck with paint sticking to that kind of plastic. any one else experience this?? any other suggestions/fixes?

Check ebay for dash kits for that year. There are pieces that cover the long edges of the center console. This would hide the missing paint. Check this auction, items 13, 14, 22 and 23. YOu can just order these pieces. Cost about $40 I would say.
