So they got me to work a partial day today (or what was supposed to be a partial day) Anyways it was suppose to be a milk run, 2 hour drive to Unity quick load and 2 hour ride back no hitches....right
Anyways first I spent 2 hours in the United Rentals yard unloading other peoples semis and helping the understaffed mechanics. Ok all set to go I drive up to Unity and find the pieces of equipment not plugged in or anything...... Ok long story short3 hours and 15 minutes later I leave Unity with my load. but....... Then I measured and Im too high 8 or 9 inches higher then the max allowable height, but the piece of equipment that is too high doesnt really run so yaaa. I dont think I took down any red lights or powercords on the way back.
So instead of a quick 5 hours for a Saturday I put in a full 7-4:30 day...with no lunch or coffe as usual.
On a good side though the genwerator that was missing in Swift Current that I was getting blame for was found.
It was a load kinda like this but I also had a scissor lift on the back. The problem is with the scissor I had to make room for it by compressing the boom lifts thus making them higher, too high as it turned out, but it all ended well.
