How do i replace my engine 4.9l

If my engine fails or when it does do i have to remove it from underneath the van or does it come out the front or from the dog house..............thanks fellows......

Much depends on how your "engine fails". Many repair don't require pulling the motor. You can get the head off in place after removing the intake plenum & do valve/cam work. Head off, you can jack it up enough in place to remove the oil pan & do most piston/rod work.

If you "have to remove it....it come out the front" using a shop crane/floor hoist/lift arm.
