problem

I have a 91 ford f150 with a 4.9l with a e40d transmission. When i am driving down the road it jumps 200rpms when going on high way or city driving just wondering what it could be?

Try unplugging the A/C clutch and take it for a drive.

My 91 does it when the a/c clutch is plugged in, draws hard off the alternator everytime it kicks in and would usually drop a couple hundred rpm then kick back up when it cut out again. It was even noticable at hiway speeds.
My air didnt blow cold anyway so i just left it unplugged for now, till i decide to fix it or get a delete pulley for it.
