Measuring exhaust pipes.
My friend works at an exhaust shop, but my truck isnt yet registered and on the road. I just got headers and mufflers, but was wondering how I can give him the dimensions for my pipes that i want bent. Any suggestions? I was thinking maybe some copper wire, and bend it accordingly, then bring in the bend for him to duplicate. Has anyone ever done this? or could I bring him measurements?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 06-Mar-02 AT 06:16 AM (EST)]Tough to do, thats why they call it a custom exuast. I would almost bolt some cheap cheap header muffs just to get it there. I know a auto place by me has them for $12 each, I would eat the $24 bucks just to make sure the system fit perfect. If not maybe try some electrical conduit.
