One of the trucks at our chapter GTG today was sportin' this beast....but it was on there when he bought it and didn't know where it came from or who made it.
Anybody that knows me knows how easily I'm distracted by shiny objects ....and one of these bad boys would just look killer up on the nose of Big Blue!!!
The style is striking me as Australian. It's missing the euro bar common in most US and European style grille guards. The lower appears stamped, so it's not going to be home made. Try looking at NZ and Australia based companies.
That bumper looks neat! I don't go there unless they are really heavy steel..If you get into a light fender bender the top will crash into the grill and hood and do more damage than having a stock bumper..But it looks nice.

I don't know....That thing is pretty dang thick. The uprights and light guards are TIG welded all the way around. No bolts anywhere. I reefed on it pretty hard while I was standing there and it doesn't flex. Seems solid enough for cow catching duties if need be.
You may be right. One of the chapter members is a truck driver and he said it's almost identical to the big rig bull bars he's seen. The biggest difference is this one is definitely plate aluminum.
The manufacturer of this bumper?

It does look sturdy. I'd like to see the back side of that. It's a bit large my taste, but it does look pretty cool.
Have to go with this also. I'm not a fan of grille guards BUT this has changed my mind!!!!
Check out the web site,, LOTS of good info an pics there! ALSO, they state an you'll learn this is made for repeat hits an not one time use toss!
Got the saving jar out now!!!!
It does look pretty close. The one that Cookie posted might be an older model? There is one in the brochures pdf and the photo gallery pages that are very close, but none exactly the same.
That looks like the Herd bumpers. If you look at the GMC 4500 page they look like the picture. That is what all of the ambulance services around here are using on the 4500s.
