Exhaust Question
I buddy of mine has a flowmaster 40 series muffler he is giving me and i'm wondering if it is worth the money to have it put on with the stock exhuast. Does anyone know if it is much of a sound change? i'm looking for a little louder and deeper tone.

I ran Flowmasters on 3 different 5.0 Mustangs and would do it again but they just don't sound as good on Modular/Triton motors to me. I run Magnaflows on my truck and think they compliment the Triton well.

Can't hurt it to put it on there although I wish I went with another brand personally I want ridiculous loud and deep but if the muffler is free i'd throw it on there it will be deeper and louder than stock but not ***** out loud. I currently have cat back with single inlet dual outlet flowmaster 40 series or super 40 i don't remember and it just dumps after the muffler, the tailpipes took sound and tone away plus the look of no tailpipes is nice.
