But I do know that CCV means crankcase ventilation, and re-routing it out of the intake is a popular modification. Not being a 7.3 guy myself, I don't have a clue on the foil delete thing.
the foil delte is on the intercooler pipes (going to the turbo). Mostly cosmetic. There's a stick on insulating foil on them. It takes some work to get the glue off .. but once off you can then buff them shiny, or paint to the color of your choice
