headlight help please.

I have ran 9005 ultras in my truck for a year now (Reg. SilverStar 9005`s before that for a year) and have never melted a lens yet and they are filthy.
I also run a SUV Wiring Harness on my headlights with the SilverStars and yes it makes a Big difference. Changes the power to the lights from 12.2v to 14.4v.
I just changed out all of the SilverStars to PIAA`s and what a differance that made. The PIAA 9005`s are 65w. I`ll check the wiring in a couple of weeks and see if they are getting to hot. Even if they do I`ll just upgrade the wiring.
Damn those PIAA`s are expensive, but the do have a 1 year warranty, no ?`s asked.
