I have a 1989 F150 302 with Bassani complete exhaust. The system has one high flow cat. Will removing the air pump system cause the cat to fail and plug up prematurely.
haha..my 86' F-150's pump froze a while ago. and the hose goin to the cat. broke(tried patching it with JB weld). It is still connected, but on cold days u see a slight bit of steam coming out of it until it warms up. I don't think it will hurt it...
Why not just take the cats. off?? or take it off and use a coat hanger to punch out the coan filling, then put it back on. so it looks like u have one if cops ask, but it won't affect exhaust flow. I've heard of peeps doin that. laterz
