slave question

what can cause a slave to wear out stupidly fast?...i put a new slave in my 95 sometime between oct. 29th and nov. 7th 2008 and now its shot again? silver auto said he will warranty it and im fixing it monday but i was thinkin there might be something deeper in the truck causing it to wear out fast or just faulty slave?

thanks guys

A real downer. A few thoughts, excessive high fluid pressure caused by bad clutch or worn/sticking throwout bearing carrier (you would notice this in high force required to depress pedal). Bad fluid. Or, most common cause, poor cylinder manufacture. Also if a concentric type may be caused by excessive vibration due to bad transmission shaft nose bearing or case bearing of excessive heat from slipping clutch.
All I can think of at this time. Hope it helps.
