X-Plan help needed

Help! I am going to buy a 09 F-150 just as soon as I can get an x-plan pin. I have already negotiated with the dealer and come to a deal and I cannot get in touch with the guy that said he would get me a pin.
Could someone please get me an x-plan pin?
My e-mail is timc@cockfieldcpa.com and my telephone number is (912) 294-7075.
I really appreciate it. I am waiting on the pin and cannot go forward without it.
I posted this on the sticky and thread where you are suposed to repeatedly and got no response.
Thanks!!!

Timcpa i wouldnt let getting a x-plan pin decide if you get a truck or not. It's not a great difference when your talking 30+k for a truck. If you cant get one just go ahead and order it and make sure you get all rebates that are running. Some dealers hold back ones that aint advertised so just come on here to get some info for the zip you live at.

Can someone check and see what "hidden" incentives or rebates are available for zip code 31545, besides the $3000 rebate?

Just keep negotiating. X plan takes off what 5-6k off? you can get well over 10k off these trucks. altho this is 09's were talkin about. Just wait as long as you can. They will deal with em before long. Altho probably not around here...Theyre flying off the lot around these parts. taking an average of 5k off sticker. i cant believe it. But i shouldnt be surprised, they are FORDS!

X-plan is slightly better than the invoice price but not as good as family pricing. The x-plan discount all depends on how much the mark up is, the higher the trim level the larger the discount.
XL 4x2 reg cab 6.5' box: base msrp $20,345 x-plan $19,668
XLT 4x2 reg cab 6.5' box: base msrp $24,315 x-plan $22,746
What I should be ordering Friday or Saturday
Lariat 4x4 crew cab 6.5' box: base msrp $38,290 x-plan $35,024
Then when you start to add options the discount goes up depending on what the markup is on the options. I should end up around $4K off with the x-plan plus any incentives.

You should be able to get the truck for invoice but might have to wait until the 2010's are almost out.

Thanks guys, I knew all that. I thought there was a different secret. I'm not buying until mid to late 2010. I'm waiting to see the new engine options and I'm kind of uneasy about fuel prices right now as well. I'm not going to buy a truck as my DD just to feed it $4.00 per gallon gas / diesel when I can get a gas sipper to get to work in. My old '88 is as good as gold still.

The x-plan Platinum I've got on order is coming in $1000 under invoice. If incentives offered at the time of delivery equate to less, I'll have the dealer re-invoice to reflect such. Locally I've seen better pricing offered to those walking off the street than x-plan. Don't be afraid to ask the dealer to re-invoice or... walk away.

I'm a dealer's nightmare. I was recently assisting a co-worker on the purchase of a VW and after 2 days of "guns a blazin" the dealer sold the car out from under my buddy's feet. We took this same approach to another VW dealer and got away with it.

The thrill of the hunt never gets boring!

I have the one sales rep. that I will buy from, so when it comes down to it I buy from him. But I do enjoy going to mess with the other dealers, I don't feel bad since so many of them are crooks and I usually know more about the vehicles they are trying to sell than they do. I think of it as a learning experience for them.

Tell me about it. My sales erson was such an idiot. When i picked up the truck he told me he would spend an hour going through everything with me. I looked at him and said are you joking as i think it will be an hour of me showing you how to use it. He then just ticked all the box's that say he has shown me what to do. He didnt know hardly anything about the trucks.

Its a shame salesman dont know more about the product theyre selling. When the 6.0's forst came out i went to a couple dealers just to get some ideas about em. The first one said they had over 400 horsepower and 450 ft lbs of torque. I laughed. He said you can no longer get a super cab long bed...next dealer was closer, and said 350 hp, and 700 ft lbs of torque. Out of 5 dealers 1 knew the exact hp and tq numbers. Its funny.

O when the 03 cummins came out i went to my local dealer and asked how they made them so much quieter and he said the sprayed a layer of foam on the inside of the block...
