Air Intake Question
My buddy has an 03 with the 6.0 and wants to upgrade his air intake. What's the best one out there? Is there something for the 6.0s like the 6637 that works on the 7.3s? Thanks.

Tell your buddy to save his money and spend it on a better mod. The Donaldson air filter that comes on the 6.0 is about the best choice for it. If you check past postings on this you'll find lots of members that support this opinion. Why risk dusting the engine. Which isn't covered by warranty.

They're just a pain to change or remove for access, but they work well and don't need to be changed often. I read somewhere that they'll hold something like 5 lbs of dirt. One of my past trucks had a dusted turbo from an aftermarket intake. An expensive lesson learned the hard way.
