Ok I dont have a supercharger and I know this wont help the thread much. BUT I'm am gonna take a guess and say it wont help MPGs only because you will constantly be flooring it at intersections to hear the whine of the supercharger. Or at least I would.
city MPG went up actually by about 1/2 a mpg. from 12 to 12.5/13
and that is with me being absolutely stupid.
I can get over 13 mpg when I'm being more adultish.
stock 18"/32" rim/tire combo though.
wish I could get a highway MPG, but Hawaii doesn't have any real highways. I wouldn't be surprised to pull down 18+ easily though. I had managed 20-21 mpg before the install in 2006/2007
Not my truck, but I installed an Allen Intercooled Supercharger kit on my '96 XR7 Cougar 4.6L and mileage remained unchanged. It makes 410hp/465hp at the crank, runs 12's, drives like stock and still knocks down 25mpg on the highway.
If I start getting greedy with the boost, mileage will drop into the low double digit range, but that's an issue with the driver....not the blower itself.
IMO you can't beat a Positive Displacement blower for performance and drivability. And c'mon....who doesn't love blower whine!!!
