I opened the top hat and tore down the slide yokes and rods I found the center slide yoke to be worn up to the numbers is this a dealer item?
two views of the fork and one of the top hat can some one tell me what this lever is for?JNT

 

yes you can get that a ford dealer or a tranny shop can order it for you, if you go threw a tranny shop ask them if they are able to get a forged shifter fork instead of the cast the cast were out really quick and this is a know problem for these trannies to wear out the 3-4 shifter fork. if you come across a tranny shop that sales the forged forks can you let me know i have put 2 3-4 forks in mine in the last 2 years thanks.
