Gibson Cat Back

Well, after two weeks with the Gibson cat back, single side swept series bolted on my 01sd 5.4, here's what I think.

WASTE OF MONEY.

Other than being a easy bolt on that took about 1/2hr to complete, I put about 1000 miles on it, from city driving to 100 mile higway trip and I didn't pick up any mileage gains. Now it is possible I gained a 1/10 hp, but I doubt it.
As far as sound compared to the stock muffler, no change,I was hoping for a more than stock "rumble" but I was dissapointed.
I basically feel that I wasted $239 bucks on a decent looking exhaust tip.

I'm sure others have had better results but I can only tell you what I found based on my expierence.

I installed the dual sport exhaust and like it very much. Pretty loud outside the cab but nice inside on acceleration and decent on the highway. Towing a trailer all the way to maine for 4 1/2 hrs, the exhaust gets annoying if it was loud..but i can't hear it if i turn the radio up alittle. You got the crappy one(no offense)as far as sound and HP, it only uses 3" pipes, mine uses dual 2 1/2 or 2 1/4 i cant remember, pipes. That system was designed to give a slightly louder then stock sound and really, it only improves power through the mandrel bent rubing over stock, and the slightly larger pipe.

Primary rig is:
95' F-150 EB 300/6 5 spd with 4" Superlift, MSD, Ram Air, Gibson Exhaust, 32" BFG Muds
NEW PICS IN MY GALLERY!! :-)

Then theres:
88' F-250 Superduty 351 + c6
92' Thunderbird 3.8L V-6 FOR SALE!
95' Mercury Cougar 4.6L V-8
80' E-350 300/6 and a
3 spd column shifter baby.

The newest addition to the Ford family is a 99' Mustang GT 4.6L
