check wheelskins.com I have one on my truck. nice leather wheel cover.
Did you have to stitch it on? and did they send you the curved needles and thread? I did one before that came out well but was a but gunshy about some of the stuff I have seen. vettdvr
My leather was shot, so I had it recovered, actually exchanged, by an ebay vendor down in Dallas. It was perfect, and I could not tell it from the original.
I have a wheel skins as well and would recommend one in a heart beat. You do have to stitch it, but it's not like the cheap junk you can pick up in most stores. Wheel skins is real leather and you stitch it much like the stock, except where the wheel meets the hub.
I found the Dallas co and I believe they do a good job,, down side is $200 and I have to pull the wheel then wait for exchange if they don't have one the correct color. Wheelskins is no down time and $50 or so but you have to put it on. I need to pull my wheel because the coast and accel buttons don't work on the cruise. Dah,, easy or hard way..
I recently bought a leather / wood steering wheel on ebay .. no core was needed to I still have my steering wheel - it's looks pretty bad. However if one of you guys needs it for an exchange, just let me know and pay shipping and you can have it ..
If you have a Lariat and want a wood grain wheel to match the door panels, you can swap in a Navigator wheel. Do a search for it on here, I've seen a few threads about it.
Chris that's the exact same one I got on Ebay ... GREAT product !
She likes it, and I didn't blow myself up putting it in, so all is good.
After seeing it installed, it kind of makes you wonder why Ford never did this from the beginning. If my wife shows her truck to somebody, they don't know the steering wheel has been changed unless she tells them. Looks like it came from the factory that way. I know you don't have that kind of confusion with your interior, but I will agree, the steering wheel looks great.
