Approx cost for service
Looking for approx cost of having the diffs and transfer case serviced. Got a quote for $350. Sounds high but don't know. Have 90,000 miles and have had the tranny serviced twice to insure no problems and think it's about time for the diffs and TC.

Shov76, That's probably fairly reasonabl. The front and rear diffs require 75w140 synthetic gear lube 5-6 qts approximately, and the tcase requires Mercon5 synthetic atf.

They aren't terrible jobs to yourself either. Front diff is the hardest, and is more cumbersome and messy than anything. T Case and rear diff are easy drain and fills. Fluids will probably run you 100-120 for all of them, plus a $5 tube of Permatex for the front.
