Replace the u-joints in the rear driveshaft. Sometimes its hard to spot a bad one by just trying to move the driveshaft. They cheap and easy.
To check the mounts, put a jack under the tranny and lift it a little (be gentle) and look for excessive movement and seperation inside of the mount. Repeat for the t-case. Be careful when doing this so as not to damage anything.
If you do not find that your problem lies in the mounts or u-joints, you get to move on to more expensive problems.
Completely agree. At minumum pull the shaft and check the u-joints, you just can't check them well when the shaft is in place. You can even just push up on the t-case with your foot to check the mount. Mounts are usually have different symptoms than what you're describing, they tend to just speak up under forward or reverse torque.
