How much torque do you think?
Hey guys how much torque do you guys think this engine would put out:
71 460 stock long block from oreillys
stealth 4 barrel intake
edelbrock 750 electric choke carb
and 1 3/4 headers
What do ya think?

well the stock 460 from 70 Linclon (same specs as 71 model) was rated at 365hp/500ftlbs of torque, so i think 400 is pretty well a given.
but it really depends on the cam they put into it.

Your numbers are gross figures vs net, but yeah it will be over 400ftlbs. Get a real cam, the stealth is a beast too.
