someone on here or a bone yard if you are lucky ........ where are you at ? i like i told another young man looking for a carb or adapter for a 223 , can point you to a pos 55 i've been stealing parts off of , that has a 223 in it thats locked up . at present i just dont have enough time or i'd pull it and send it to ya for the cost of part and shipping . like i said though no time .................... theres a pic of it in the other thread , and the exhaust manifold is good . if nothing else buy a header for it ????????

I was browsing through the mid-fifties catalogue and they sell a header for a 223. If this is any help? I would think someone in the want-ads or ebay would have one at a reasonable price.

i asked the owner of the 55 i was talking about , and he wants 40 , but like i said im short on time . if i get a chance to go over sunday after another parts errand , to take the parts i bought off i'll pop it off . maybe if not you some other soul might want it ................... i'd go header myself , pick up a few ponie's and split the exhaust if the header isnt , to run twice pipes .....

Offenhauser and Clifford still make intake manifolds for the 223. Clifford and Patriot have headers. Whether they fit all years is another question.
Ford put the 223 in a lot of passenger cars too; I don't know/remember how much interchanges, though.
