I am looking at getting new fox shocks for my truck. I am going to get the 2.0 shocks with the piggyback reservoir for the fronts. Can i run the 2.0 shocks without extra reservoir for the rears or do they all have to be exactly the same? Thanks for the help.
They don't have to be the same, you can run which ever ones you want.
But the 2.0 non reservoir is an emulsion shock....not a nitrogen charged.
We sell Fox as well if you need any pricing.
If you aren't dead set on Fox, we also offer Sway-A-Way (availalbe in red or black caps). Sway-A-Way does have a 2.0 non-reservoir nitrogen charged shock.
hey somehow i just finally came upon this site while searching for reviews of Fox Shocks.
I have a 1999 F250 EC/LB 4wd with the Powerstroke and a 2" Procomp Shackle leveling kit. I desperately need new shocks, and I figured as a deployment present I would buy the truck new shocks. this is what im interested in. Is anyone here running them yet? Im sorry if im crapping in this thread, but im really not trying to... these are the ones i want:
They ride nice, but they corrode like crazy. I would suggest some thick clear coat before you instal them if you want them to stay nice.
Good to know this man... I just got a set with of performance 2.0's with my BDS lift. I will definitely clear them now that i know that they have issues with corrosion.
Don't know about Fox shocks, but I recently put 4 Bilstein 5100's on my truck, and the ride is great. No more axle tramp and hopping, the ride is smooth and controlled on the highway.
