The tps had to do something with the transmission and also with IAC.
If I shift into nuetral while this is going on the tac, jumps to 3000rpm, and now the engine light just came on. also the tranny stay on first gear. I got a F250 4x4 5.4 ATM/gas with 206000 miles.
I couldn't find much on P1145 in fords. TPS lets the trans know how hard you are trying to accelerate, which will change when it shifts. I think the IAC has real limited duties when it comes to the transmission, mostly it keeps the engine running when the butterfly is closed.
You very well could have a IAC issue, cleaning it cost little and it probably needs it even if it's not your problem.
