Door Wont shut
The drivers side rear lower corner of the cab has rusted apart and now I cant get the door to shut with me in the seat.

It will shut fine when I am out side, but not inside.
Any ideas on how to adjust the thing?

Reasons why I don't fix the sheet metal are MONEY and it's frickin cold out with no garage.
I fixed mine by clamping a a large pair of vice grip pliers onto the door latch stopper, and then I slowly wiggled the stopper downwards a little at a time. I'd move it a little and try to shut the door, if it wouldn't latch then I'd move it down a little more and try again. It only took a small 'adjustment' to get the door latching again.

Since the back of the cab is "moving" away from the door, why bring the door to the back of the cab?

All I did was get a few washers, and started adding them to the back of the striker, in essence bringing the striker to the door.

So far only one washer is needed {1/8" roughly}.
I have two more for "in case" while waiting for the GLOBAL WARMING to end so I don't freeze my old a$$ off.
