460 rebuild
Alright fellas.. Let me pick your brains a bit. I'm doing rebuild on a 460 that was pulled from a Lincoln. The moror is in the machine shop now. I had to punch it out 30 over, stock rods, polishing the crank, cam is going to be slightly over an RV (I want it to lope a tad), I am going to run LandL headers, Edelbrock performer intake, holley 750 cfm vaccuum secondary carburator, stock lifters and rocker arms. The motor is a 73 block with 71 heads. The car that it came out of was an emissions car so I need to change the timing gears and chain back to o degrees. I am going to port the exhaust side of the heads to shave the humps out that I know is going to restrict this thing from breathing. After all that.. What is everyones thoughts on HP and torque for this motor with these applications?
