This and the Big Bronco site are about the best you are going to get for information.

I'll Start, the Bronco only came in 4x4 no 2 wheel drove only solid axle front end and only engines from the factory are 351m and 400 that's it no 460s or 302's

Rick.

Red link in my signature might be of some interest. Otherwise, Red Ford Truck has you pointed in the right direction. The "Ranger" package was an option during the 78-79 production run if I recall correctly. The "Freewheelin'" package included a paint scheme of some rather loud red orange and yellow striping over a solid body color. I don't know what body colors were available in the Freewheelin' package but I've seen brown, black, and red under the striping in brochures.

i thank you guys for your help and maybe i have a bit for you i hope so. in 1978 the bronco came with 18 base colors the freewheelin bronco came in a package that i might say is (awsome) the stripes on the package were in color sets of three they were orange tan and cream , or blue white and grean and the orange of course. the color of the stripes is based on the base color you choose i my self have seen black red blue and a green fw bronco. now for my problem, i am sorry for misleading my original post. i am aware that the broncos came with 351m or the optional 400 engines (only options) the engine i am not familiar with is the 351 boss does it look the same physically? if so how do i determine the differance in the m and boss and what is the value of the 351 boss engine 8000 on rebuild? as for color can some one please give me specifics on where to look ? thank you all for your help let me no if you need any ive lots of parts and can find all you want
