No start?
This past weekend I decided to try to find out why my backup lights don't work so I unplugged the neutral safety switch from the main harness and probbed around in the plug. It was getting late so that was that but now today I went out to start it to come to work and nothing... Now on my way to work I kept thinking why it wouldn't start and remembered that I did not plug the neutral safety switch back in so would that keep it from starting??

Yes. It is what it says it is, a switch. Has to be "ON" (complete the circuit) for the truck to start.
I had a harness melt on the headers one time and an inconsistant starting problem, took a long time and alot of frustration to find that one.

I just don't get my backup lights though. I bought a new neutral safetly switch and the backup lights worked for a while and now they don't. The switch is working for one just what I did and two it won't start unless in neutral or park. It's wired with the wipers which work so I don't know. Any ideas??
