As of a few days ago I bought my first F150. Shes a 2000 F150 4x4 XLT. I love the truck so far but I have one problem that just started today. The left turn signal indicator in the dash flashes very fast, and the front left turn signal(outside) also flashes very fast with it. But, ALL LIGHT WORK! NO bulbs are out. Even when I turn the left turn signal on, it will slow down and act like normal. Also, the hazards work just fine. When I turn the right turn signal onthough, the truck lights act as if the hazards are on (all turn signals flash). I have been researching this for hours. I have replaced the left turn signal front and rear with no luck. Also replaced the flasher relay (big black square relay) with no luck.
Years ago I had the same problem on my 97,two issues...one...the light socket on the drivers rear was pretty much melted(shorted)...second,theres a connector(big) on the side of the steering column near the floorpan...it had corrosion in it...Cleaned that connector, and replaced the socket....my problem fixed....I know your truck is newer, but this may be something to look at...and by the way...YES all my lights worked too!
