fuel mpg

I bought a 01 f250 superduty with a 5.4lt V8. it has king ranch tires, dual exhaust, k/n intake and a programer in the comp., but i am still getting 9 mpg. what could be my problem???

try taking the truck to stock and see if that helps. Keep in mind you have a big truck built for work not mpg's. You might get it weighed to see just how heavy it is.

What program is loaded?? I get 13.86 in the summer and 12.5 in the winter. I also have the 3 valve 5.4.

I thought mine wasnt good but found out otherwise.

I think mine is capeable of more
