cab body mount question....

cab body mount question....
im gonna be puttin a 3in body lift on my 89 F250 diesel and i was wonderin what the easiest way to fix the rotted through body mount on pasenger side... should i just get a piece of 3/8 steel and run it down my cab? its an ext cab just an fyi.....

ok will do gotta wait for it to stop snowing but that is what i was thinkin should i do it on both sides so its not lopsided???

Don't forget the front mounts or you'll be leaning forward. What I did was I took a piece of tin and put underneat, then took my MIG welder and just built it up. Let it cool. Ground it down. then repeated. I think thats the toughest easiest way to go.

what i was thinkin of doing becuase its the front body mount was just takin a strip of metal and going from one body mount to the other on both sides to keep it level
