I had someone tell me to put Echo tips on my truck to help with the sound I'm looking for. Will this really work, or should I just put bigger tailpipes on it??
What are they, and where can I get them?? Are they expensive?? Just please tell me they aren't those tips they put on the little rice burners to make them sound like an overgrown lawnmower engine!!! Does it help with the deep throaty sound?? Thanks for the reply bud!
Here are a couple pics of an echo tip. They are just an oversized tip that is either welded or clamped to the end of the tailpipe. You can get them at a local exhaust shop for around $20 each. The tip usually makes the exhaust note deeper. This particular tip is 18" long by 3 1/2" in diameter. You can get larger sizes too.https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gallery/sizeimage.php?&photoid=6195&.jpg
