Any suggestions?
i'm tryin to make a pulling pickup out of a 1979 Ford F-150 i have a 460 to drop in it but it needs rebuilding lookin for any suggestions on parts to use or machineing to get done to it. what do i need to do to the driveline so it will take the beating?

I don't know what part of mn you are from but if are close to the twin cities total engine service in bloomington is the best I have found. They build a lot of boat motors which have to have torque all the time. They have done the machine work on 5 motors I have built and they are all running really strong still. There is no sign on the building since they don't need one. Been in the business long enough for word of mouth. You can eat off the floor which a real machine shop should be. They can ballance your motor too. I have lived in MN since 97 and they are the best I have found. There number is 612-888-3841. They aren't the cheapest but If you want the best here it is.
