I ordered my '08' and took delivery early October. Now with 17,000 miles on it, I hope everyone is as happy with theirs as I am with mine. I've pulled with it, carried weight and just plain driving around enjoying the surroundings, This beast is just a nice riding truck and has all the power that i would like.
If your on the fence looking and not hauling maxed out all the time day in and day out, these V10s are something and combined with the 4.30s and torque shift it's one sweet machine. Definitly worth looking at for a test drive if you can find one.
Even with duallies this truck is not all that bad with mileage. My '05' F350 SRW with the 5.4 & 4.10ls got about 1.5 mpg better than this truck. I just never got that BSEG when you stepped down on the gas peddle. Enough rambling time for more coffee, did I mention these V10s are pretty sweet.
The V-10 w/4:30's was/is a sweet combo,,had that on my 04' F-350,,,was V-10, S-cab, XLT,4x4, 6-speed, DRW 4:30's,,,No longer with me,,DRW kinda hamper tight snowplowing area's,,traded for my 06'.
Thank you 96, Looks great after a wash one trip down the road and starts to lose the shine. Black is a tough color, wanted silver and Ford was out of the color when ordering it.
