I've only had my "screw" for about two weeks, but I am interested in an aftermarket exhaust system. I am generally leaning towards a Borla (for stainless) or Dynomax Ultra Flo. I am looking for your opinions:
Rear dual exhaust or passenger side exhaust (dual pipe)
Where is best place to buy online or by phone?
I was just looking at a new Supercrew today, and noticed that like the F-150's they have dual cats from the factory so why not have a exhuast shop put on a set of real duals??
Cats actually quiet things down quite a bit I would try it with no mufflers just to see how loud it was or wasn't:P
I have a "screw" and its got a flowmaster 50 series into duels and out the back on each corner of the bumper with 3.5" chrome tips very deep mellow tone and when you get on it its agressive. Gibson makes a good afforable system and so does Summit. I wouldnt worry about the stainless by them time you have enough miles on the vehicle 100,000+ is when you will need new exhaust its a cheap investment. Summit system is around 175.00 and gibson is 270.00 and I think I paid 300 for my flowmaster installed. I tried that true duels on the truck and forgot to put crossover pipes and it still was as deep of a tone as you can get put it was hard finding a spot for 2 flows standing upsideways. Took them off and went with the single into duels.
