I had my chip reburned and finally got it back in today after work. Took it for a spin and it died 2 miles down the road, I was not rompin on it, just died. My trucks never died on me before, it did fire right back up though, no problems and drove home no problem. Just wondering.....the chip have anything to do with this?
my chip made the truck not start one time but thats because my contacts were not clean enough did you chip go back in and fit tight might take some gorilla tape and try and tape it in

It could be reburned bad, mine was burned for a 2002, I sended it again and burned well this time and thats all, but first check the contacts as suggested above.
Just a little update, drove it today, and it died again, it fired right back up though. I know its on there good. Any suggestions before I screw anything up???
Well, if it makes you feel any better, mine has done that. I wouldn't say I wasn't getting on it but I was hitting it a little harder then I normally do and it would die. It would die after I let off the throttle. I sent it in twice and its much better now. It would only do this in light tow, heavy tow and extreme. Another problem I was having was at very light throttle in one of the three above positions. An example of this was in cruise control and topping a hill. Going down the hill, where you need a little fuel to maintain speed, the engine would start jerking, jerking bad until it felt like your teeth were going to fall out. Tony took good care of me and ironed out all the problems! Good Luck
try taking the chip out and see if it dies any, and test it with different settings. the only time my truck EVER died is if i am playing on the snow, and its spinning bad, when i let out it will sometimes die from the sudden loss of RPMs
