I told myself I wasn't going to make one of these introduction posts because these things never get seen and people usually learn who you are by your posting, and not by what you say in the introduction. I generally find it to be a waste because of these reasons, but as this is a rather large forum (or at least it has a lot of subforums) I figured people might actually check this, might be backwards logic though :-)

At any rate, I don't feel I need to list my autos (not that they are great or anything) but because I already listed them in my other post (I only have two at this point) I figured if people cared they could look there.

Not trying to double post, or cross post, but if people are interested for the time being, my cars are mentioned at the end of this post.

I would like to close in saying that I am glad to be a part of the ford truck enthusiasts, and I hope you all teach me something good about america's top selling truck for many decades now.

Hi James, welcome to FTE!

See, someone does read the intro's

I see you are finding your way around our great site. Glad you found the site and decided to join the BEST of the rest!

BTW did you see FTE has a local chapter for TN members? If not, you can find the TN chapter here,,, https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum95/

Visit the TN Chapter, meet other local FORD owners and most important JOIN your chapter.

I don't know if I would be much of an asset to a chapter based on Ford trucks at this moment, but thanks for the info and the concern in welcoming new members! (I am staff on a special interests forum, also :-))

Since you are staff, and perhaps you will be back here, I sent a message/made a post in the site updates/concerns section about not being able to make this thread, and given the unique title, perhaps it has been made for me, but on the chance that it wasn't I would like to inform you to disregard my inquiry that I made there.

Thanks again!

ps. Y'all need to update your vB cause this doesn't even allow private messaging, but anyway, happy trucking!

Did you read this sticky at the top of this forum? https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...me-to-fte.html

This summarizes some of the features that a new user can do and when you can do it. PM's are activated the next day after you make 25 posts.

What "special interest" forum are you on the staff?

I read through the forum guidlines/rules but missed the features thread. As soon as I make this post I intend on reading that very thread! Once PM is enabled I will inform you about the website, speaking of it here, while I don't consider it to be anything worse than this forum, may cause other members to look down on it, so we'll keep it private for now :-)

I understand, and look forward to hearing from you.

BTW, the site will be going thru a software upgrade Monday I believe to the latest and greatest vB version.
