jeep exhaust

I just bought a jeep with the 4.0 I6 and I was just wondering if anyone had heard what one of these engines sound like with a straight pipe.

my freind has the same engine in his jeep and he was wantin to cut the cat and muffler off and run a 18" glasspack. would anyone know how that would sound.

I have 91 cherokee with the 4.0 High output, i put on a highflow cat (here in california we have to have them) and 2 chamber flowmaster on it and its pretty loud..hope this helps
