Engine dies after starting...

I have a 2003 F-150 4.6L.....a couple of weeks ago, I was running errands and after getting back in the truck and starting it, the engine just died. Tried again, and it started up, so didn't think anything of it. The last few days, however, the problem is back. I can start the truck fine in the morning (after it's been sitting all night), as well as other times when the engine has been off for a while. The truck also runs fine when I'm driving. It's only when I try to restart it after I've been driving for a while. The engine starts, but dies right away. The only way for me to get it running is by pushing the gas pedal down a bit while I start the engine. I keep it revved up slightly, for about 10-15 seconds, and then it's fine.
My husband has changed the fuel filter, checked the fuel pump, cleaned the IAC valve, checked hoses and air filter. Also, a friend of ours hooked up his little diagnostic device and no codes were found. No engine light has ever come on.
I apologize for this long post. This is my first time on here, in case you couldn't tell, and was just wondering if anyone has any advice. Thanks!

Are you my ex-wife??

Just kidding.

Still sounds like IAC to me, maybe cleaning didn't work or possibly an electrical connector problem. Good luck.

LOL....that was funny! My husband actually gave me that nickname, not surprisingly!

I have read that sometimes cleaning the IAC valve doesn't do the trick....so maybe I'll let my husband know, politely, that he should maybe replace it.
Thanks for your input....it's appreciated!

Cleaning the IAC sometimes doesn't work.
I had the same issue with my wife's 94 Taurus.
I cleaned it, but a couple of days later it was acting up again...

Well, the truck is fixed and running great! You guys were right about the IAC valve......it needed to be replaced. My husband put the new one in last night and it started right up and stayed running! We ended up spending $112.00 for the part at Ford.....probably could've gotten it cheaper somewhere else, but we couldn't wait that long and they had it in stock.

Thanks for the feedback on here! I'll be back the next time I have a question.....
