I just purchased a 02 f-350 that has been rolled over from the insurance company. It started right up then started to run rough like it was running out of fuel. I checked the impanct switch on the passenger kickpanel and it hasn't been tripped. What should I chck next?
Oh gosh, where to start...
Check the fuel filter/fuel bowl (front and center on the motor)
Make sure the pump runs when you turn the key on (pump is under driver's door)
Check the oil level in the HPOP (square reservior in front of fuel bowl- remove the allen screw from the top cover, oil should be 1" or less from the top)
Check pan oil level
I would have to agree with the above mentioned suggestions, I would be betting more on the Under valve cover harness but any are possible. And most of all welcome to FTE, you won't find any other more informative site on the web! Good luck with it.
I filled up the hpop and cranked it over a few more times then fired right up. Everything seems fine now. Now it is time to swap the cab now that it is running. I did run into a few minor issues that I should maybe address before I start the cab swap. For some reason the wipers stay on even thought they are switched off. There is also a buzzing sound that goes away only when the brake pedal is pressed. The windshield was caved in and there was about 2 feet of snow on the roof that was melting all over the dash and interior. Thanks in advance

That's where I would start with your electrical gremlins. Water getting into the fuse panel and/or into the PCM.
