Hooker headers
Just acquired off e-bay a new set of Hooker super comp headers for my soon to be 460 in my 1979 4X4 Supercab.Looked at instructions & says u need to use the matching Hooker frame mounts.Has anyone installed these with the original frame mounts?? (using aftermarket engine mounts of course).

The last part of my engine prep is porting my heads which i started last winter. Then summer came...racing,camping,etc....will finish project this coming winter...can't afford down-time on truck now. ADVICE; There's a huge amount of info on these mess. boards for the swap. Just start digging. If $$ is no object...L&L makes a great conversion kit..rear sump pan,headers,etc. I used a Ford E350 Van oil pan to save money. Find lots of them on e-bay. Good Luck
