Looking at a 2005 Ex. Are there any areas of concern I should be paying clse attention to? Also, the price seems kind of high $14,995 30k on the clock.
I have recently experienced a bad front wheel bearing/hub design that has failed and in need of replacement at around 70,000 miles. I found out that other owners have experienced this as well. It isn't that hard to replace but it is a hub assembly and I have yet to purchase it and believe that it is around $160 a side. Other than that, it is a great vehical.

I just bought my 2005 XLT with 50Kmiles in NJ in December for $8900 plus tax. It was a good deal since most were from 10,000 to $13,000, in my area as listed on Autotrader. It had a scratch on the front bumper, and one on the rear painted bumper too, but no dents, and it was clean inside and out aside from that.
The only thing to watch is mpg. Mine gets TERRIBLE mpg only 13 or 14. there must be something wrong since most folks here are getting around 16 in town, and 20 on the highway. That is what my 98 got with 130Kmiles. I'm going to change the plugs and wires, and then see what happens.
