I just got Bilstein 5100s and LOVE them. They are for a truck lifted 1" - 3" but will work fine on a stock truck (mine only has the front leveled out) but instead of that funky yellow/blue color combo, these have silver bodies with black boots.

Just put on some Rancho XL 9000 9 way adjustables. I haven't go to take it for a spin yet, but the things are massive! Nitrogen filled, 18 mm rods and nearly 3" diameter shock body, and as usual lifetime warranty.
I run Rancho RS9000's with a 8" donahoe lift. No matter where I put them they seem a little stiff (which isnt bad, just uncomfortable on the hightway). I had some bilsteins and some Edelbrock on front and they were just as stiff.
I took my front shocks off and it loosenend up a bit so I threw the RS9000's back on because they are purdy colored.

There's no downsides to running the 5100s with stock ride height?
Just for brendan, i like my blue and yaller bilsteins.
I second this. I just put mine on two days ago and I really like how they ride and how they look as well. I think they go really well with the white and gold two tone that I have.
FYI, I got mine on ebay for $239 with free shipping.
Bilsteins are the most popular choice as they are built like a tank and for the price are usually the best value. KYB Monomax is next, they are near identical for most trucks, sometimes the KYB's may be a few bucks more. Bilstein does have issues at time with keeping up with inventory needs.
What model is the truck? I'd be happy to help and would be willing to pass along a very good discount on them and ship them for free for you.

PUNK!!!
My truck is black, I've got a work-truck bumper getting painted black & am looking for a grey work-truck front bumper to go "blacked out" with the exception of a little chrome here & there. "blue & yaller" would have made my truck look like it had the mumps. And the front is lifted/leveled so they weren't the proper application there anyway.
FYI - I will very likely be back in MD in about 5 months time or so. We'll have to meet up before it gets blistering humid.
