frustrated an confused

I got a 88 F-250 with a 460 and i was wondering if any of you know why it would burn 5 valves i bought this truck with a burnt valve about a year ago an i put a new valve an it ran great after that i even drove the truck to texas an back twice an when i got back from the last trip it started actin like it had a dead cylinder just like it did when i first got it so i called the guy i bought it from an he told me that this had happened 3 times to him bringing the total up to 5!! hopefully someone can give me some insight.

Any exhaust leaks around the manifold?

nope an no vacumn leaks either
